After watching the ONE Campaign videos, what elements do you believe help make the videos make an impact? Which video did you think was the strongest? Which was the weakest? Why?

The strongest elements of these videos is their simplicity and the many celebrities that are projecting their voices. Also, I like how they arent asking for money like any ordinary campaign, but for your voice. This helps convince people to help fight poverty/hunger because they dont need to donate vasts amounts of money to know they make an impact.

Also, I think that a good element of their project is how they sell things that are made by the poverty/hunger stricken people and trying to make them involved themselves.

I really like the ONE Vote '08 video because it emphasized the need to vote and bring changes that will affect the citizens to the government. One person said that we should vote because we are the global citizens of the world. I totally agreed with him. After seeing this video, I realized that no one can do everything, but everyone can do something to improve the lives of the unfortunate people.

The video that most impacted me was the snapping one. It impacted me the most because in every snap they did, a person died of hunger. I think all the movies had a strong element that made people want to do something.
"We don't want your money, we want your voice"

I agree with jina, the video of the snapping really touched me and nobody can change that(BOOBY) and this is a serious issue and we need to do somthing about it right now.

I think that the element that made the videos have a strong impact on people is the fact that they used people that everyone looks up to. Celebrities are the ones in the videos and they are probably the people that society would most want to hear. My favorite video was also the snapping one because it showed you how many lives die with just a snap of a finger. The videos help make a difference because they address they problem.

In my opinion the thing that made these videos so strong for viewers was the voices of each celebrity and the message they were giving. I also liked how they talked about not wanting our money, but our voice. The video i liked the most was the one where celebrities snapped for one second it passes and it that second one person dies. The video which i though was the weakest was the one where they just talked about the problem of hunger in Africa but it looked that they just memorized what they were saying but didn't really mean it.

The video that most impacted me was one that people snap. Every moment they snap, one person is dying by hunger. That was very serious for me that many people are dying every second. The strongest video was the video called 'one by one' which people say few words which made sentences about hunger and at the last part says, "We don't want your money, we want your voice." The weakest vedio for me was Miami one which many people gathered and made the word ONE in many places. Although it was cool, it didn't give me any feeling about hunger. It was just an entertainment for me.

I liked the idea that said millions of people are looking for your voice. I think if small portion of people say few words, it will be sufficient to help save the poor people from poverty. 8,200 people die every day. The world should try to reduce the number of deaths by speaking up for them. We should give our voice, it doesn't cost any money.

Elements that help the videos make an impact is that it doesn't just ask for money but for your voice. It also makes an impact to see that for every snap a child dies and it shows that celebrities take part in this and are sharing their voices with the rest.

I think the fact that celebraties are taking the time to come out and talk in the ONE videos makes a huge impact since they are well known and people will actually be influenced and affected by these famous people. The snapping finger one is also very cool and it's shocking and it gives everyone a clear idea on how many kids are actually dieing due to extreme poverty and AIDs.

I agree with the one called Brendan. The simplicity of the videos makes the videos not so complicated and to the point. Also, the fact that they use celebs to set examples is a great element.
