An Inconvenient Truth

What part of the film made the greatest impression on you? Why? Do you think this was an effect movie? Why or why not?

Even though we didn't finish the video, I thought the statistics about storms forming as the water heated up, followed by the images of the flooding in New Orleans was fairly impacting. It's one thing to see statistics, but it's another to see their physical effects, not only during the disaster, but the aftermath as well.

After seeing the "An Inconvenient Truth", I had to researh some articles on the web regarding global warming. I found a movie called "The Great Global Warming Swindle" that claimed that global warming wasn't caused by humanity. I really want to share this video with the class.

The part of the film that made me the greatest impression was the effort that the man had to help our world. How he went place to place to communicate his videa about global issues. He was an impressive man.
The movie was an effect movie thanks to the desire of the man. This movie did a great job comparing humans with the frog, that we don't do anything when the "water" is slowly heating up.

The part of the movie that made an effect on me the most was when it showed the polar bears and how they will drown it almost made me cry. Yes this is the type of movie people should see because it is very aware about our enviorment and is very shocking.

The part of the film that impacted my most was probably all the graphs that Al Gore showed us. In only 50 years we will heat the earth so much that it will probably be the end of most living things like coral. This made such an impact on me because it made me realize that if we don't do anything, our planet will plunge into catastrophe.

The greatest impression the film made was how global warming has an effect in our world. It was interesting to see that parts in U.S like Manhattan would be flooded and soon be under water. This movie had a great impact and was an effect movie because it was very realistic and showed a very good image of how the world would change. It was very shocking but it also made me want to get involved and help out.

How the temperature keeps on rising and CO2 Levels keep on going up and how noboody is doing anything about it. They keep on denying it and that is stupid. This could have a huge impact on our earth and nobody is doing anything.

I think this movie was really good. I saw this movie once before seeing it again in this class and believe me it is worth watching twice.
What really caught my attention the most was the part where they talked about what would happen to all the modern cities that exist today throughout the world. Some of them they predict they would be underwater due to global warming.
If we don't start doing something now our children will have to live with the consequences of our actions.

I was really really really serious about Global Warming while watching that video. I didn't know the problem is that serious. I got shock when the presentor get on the muchine and go up to show us where are we now on the graph. And also when he showed us two pictures of same place but different time. They were totally different. Lastly I also got shock about the polar bear. They would not have any ice to live some years later because of what we did.
I think this movie will affect a lot to the viewers. If everyone watch this movie, they will regret of what they did and at least they will try to keep the Earth as before.

I think this was a great video because it showed the world more of how important is to take care of our environment. We should start worrying about our planet and the future problems. This showed the better image on our enviornment.

Well, I haven't seen "An Inconvinient Truth" (yet (: ) but i have heard a lot about it. What we have to remember is that, the earth goes through patterns of warming up and cooling down and it's just a process that it goes through. We can't say that global warming is happening all because of us, we have to accept the fact that it's what the earth does. Humans are only contributing to global warming and speeding up the process, but the thing is, that it's going to happen sooner or later. Also, we have to remember that the earth keeps a balance, i read in a magazine that since the glaciers and icebergs are melting, phytoplanktons are able to grow in the warmer water and when they die and sink to the bottom of the ocean floor they take CO2 gas with them. The best thing we can do right now is learn how to adapt and be ready for a warmer world in order to survive.

WELLL i didnt see the whole video but i saw the ending and the thing that i thought was most interesting was the fact that other countries are taking a stand so its the US' turn to start trying to make a difference. I thnink the video has really mad people think about ways they can help. It has opened the eyes of many people around the world so people can start uniting to make a difference.

I think that this was an effective movie because it was both interesting and fun to watch. I found the statistics interesting and the movie in a whole pretty informative
